Xiaomi launched its new Civi 2 smartphone in the Chinese market on Tuesday. This phone was launched with Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Generation 1 processor. The phone has a 6.55-inch full-HD + AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This phone with a triple rear camera setup has a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 main camera sensor. The best feature of the phone is its dual-front camera setup. That is, two cameras have been given on the front of the phone. Xiaomi claims that this is the most powerful front camera system ever introduced by the company in smartphones. Along with this, a 32-megapixel primary camera and another 32-megapixel ultra-wide angle sensor have been installed in the front.

Xiaomi Civi 2 runs on the layer of MIUI 13 based on Android 12.  The phone has a 6.55-inch full-HD + (1,080×2,400 pixels) AMOLED display. The display offers a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 240Hz touch sampling rate, and 1,000 nits brightness. The display comes with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support and has been given Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. As we told you, this smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

Xiaomi Civi 2 Price and Availability

The Xiaomi Civi 2 smartphone is available on the Xiaomi China Online Store at a starting price of 2,399 Yuan (approximately Rs. 27,000) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The company has also brought the 8GB RAM + 256GB variant, which is priced at 2,499 Yuan (approximately Rs 28,500). Along with this, the price of the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is 2,799 Yuan (about Rs 32,000).

This smartphone comes in Black, Blue, and Pink colors. There is also a special ‘Hello Kitty Edition of the Xiaomi Civi 2, which comes in white and supports a pleated pattern on the rear panel. There is no official news from the company about when this smartphone will be launched in the global markets. However, a report has claimed that Xiaomi Civi 2 can be brought to other markets with Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G NE or Xiaomi 13 Lite branding.
